TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) Program at Craven Community College is a 100% federally funded grant program committed to promoting academic success and degree completion. The program provides comprehensive support services that strengthen academic skills, assist with navigating college requirements, and foster personal, academic, and professional growth. Through structured advising, skill-building workshops, and ongoing guidance, TRIO empowers students to persist, graduate, and achieve their educational goals.

Eligibility
To be eligible for TRIO Student Support Services, students must meet specific criteria established by the U.S. Department of Education. Applicants must be:
- income-eligible
- a first-generation college student
- and/or a student with a documented disability
How to Apply
Applying to TRIO Student Support Services is simple. Complete the TRIO application and submit any required documentation to determine eligibility. Upon submission, a member of our TRIO team will reach out to schedule an initial meeting. Our team is here to guide you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

*Students are encouraged to participate in other campus programs and services while enrolled in TRIO. We believe in connecting students with as many resources as possible to support their success.
